FAQs

What is a travel trailer, anyway? Is it the same thing as a camper?

Yes, a travel trailer and camper are the same thing. A travel trailer is a towed unit that is designed to provide amenities that provide the comfort of home while traveling. Our travel trailers or campers have been purchased this year (2021) so they are new.

How do I tow the travel trailer/camper?

There are a couple of options when it comes to towing the camper to your desired site. Check in with us with what type of vehicle you have and we will be sure to match you with the right size camper for you. The ball size for the camper is either 2” or 2 5/16”, and uses a 7 pin round connector. If you don’t have the in-dash brake system set up in your vehicle, don’t worry, we have a bluetooth brake controller for rent ($25/trip)! If you do not have a vehicle that can tow the camper, we do offer delivery, set-up, and take-down for a fee of $2.50 per mile.

Where can I take the camper?

Depending on your length of the rental, you can take it as far away as you want to explore! There are no mileage limits to our campers when you take them. We can deliver our campers within a 60-mile radius of Nottingham. Only want it for a week but still not sure where to go? Let us know what kinds of adventures you are looking for and we can give some great recommendations between campgrounds and state parks around NH, Maine, and Vermont.

I am interested in a camper rental, do you offer any additional supplies with the rental units?

Yes, we have complimentary basic kitchen kits with our rentals, which include a toaster, cookware, grilling utensils, coffeemaker, set of 4 silverware, plates and bowls. We will also provide an outdoor carpet.

Can I travel with my pet?

Yes. We love dogs! We do have a pet fee of $50 if you have a your dog with you in the camper.

Is the renter responsible for setting up the camper once it’s delivered?

If you are towing the travel trailer to your site, then we will prepare you with how to set it up. We also provide visual checklists and YouTube videos as reminders. If you choose to have it delivered, then no. We will deliver and set up the camper for you on the site you choose, that’s all part of the deal. We will hook it up to electric, water , and septic (if available) so it is ready to be used when you arrive. We will also provide you with a binder with FAQs and information right in the camper.

What is your cleaning policy between renters?

It is our (the owners) responsibility to sterilize the campers between renters. We follow CDC Guidelines to sanitize after each use. All of our campers are no older than 4 years old, and maintained professionally so they always feel new. We treat our renters like family - so you’ll get a camper that is spotless!
