FAQs

What is a travel trailer, anyway? Is it the same thing as a camper?

Yes, a travel trailer and camper are the same thing. A travel trailer is a towed unit that is designed to provide amenities that provide the comfort of home while traveling. Our travel trailers or campers have been purchased this year (2021) so they are new.

How do I tow the travel trailer/camper?

There are a couple of options when it comes to towing the camper to your desired site. You can tow with your own vehicle - the travel trailer’s dry weight (no cargo) is 3,860 lbs, so your vehicle must be able to tow a minimum of 5,000 lbs. The ball size for the camper is 2”, and uses a 7 pin round connector. If you do not have a vehicle that can tow the camper, we do offer delivery, set-up, and take-down for a fee of $2.50 per mile.

Where can I take the camper?

Depending on your length of the rental, you can take it as far away as you want to explore! There are no mileage limits to our campers. Only want it for a week but still not sure where to go? Let us know what kinds of adventures you are looking for and we can give some great recommendations between campgrounds and state parks around NH, Maine, and Vermont.

I am interested in a camper rental, do you offer any additional supplies with the rental units?

Yes, we have complimentary basic kitchen kits with our rentals, which include a toaster, cookware, grilling utensils, coffeemaker (upon request), silverware, plates, and 2 mugs. We will also provide an outdoor carpet, and a small grill. Don’t forget the camper includes an outdoor fridge as well!

Can I travel with my pet?

Yes. We do have an additional cleaning fee of $75 if you have a pet with you in the camper.

Is the renter responsible for setting up the camper once it’s delivered?

If you are towing the travel trailer to your site, then we will prepare you with how to set it up. We also provide visual checklists and YouTube videos as reminders. If you choose to have it delivered, then no. We will deliver and set up the camper for you on the site you choose. We will hook it up to electric, water , and septic (if available) so it is ready to be used when you arrive. We will also provide you with video tutorials for any questions you might have during your stay. We can also be reached at the phone number provided with your contract.

With Covid-19 I’m concerned about cleanliness. What is your cleaning policy between renters?

It is our (the owners) responsibility to sterilize the campers between renters. We follow CDC Guidelines to sanitize after each use. This year, 2021, due to our fleet upgrade, all of our campers are brand new, so are in excellent condition.

Do you offer any other types of recreation rentals?

Yes. We also offer kayaks, bikes, and paddle board rentals to be delivered along with your camper upon request for a fee. Just ask!
